Current Mac availability
The native Mac app is in internal TestFlight testing as version 2.5.0 (32). Its reader has a quiet headerless design, light and dark appearances, and controls that fade while you read.
Public Mac enrollment is not open yet. The iPhone, iPad and Android apps are available through their official stores, and other desktop platforms are planned without a release date.
Mac requirements
The current beta requires an Apple silicon Mac and macOS 13 or later. This build does not support Intel Macs.
The native floating reader stays above compatible camera and recording apps on your MacBook. Place it near the camera, adjust text size and speed, and move the pointer away to hide the full controls. A small status chip stays visible.
Offline local storage
The Mac beta saves scripts locally as JSON files. Lifetime usage counters stay in Keychain across ordinary reinstalls. Reading and local editing work offline within the free allowance.
Keep a copy of important source text outside any beta app. Internal beta behavior can change as the product is tested.
Voice behavior in the beta
The Mac reader uses fixed configured speed when the voice gate hears local sound. It does not transcribe speech or advance based on recognized words.
Pause while I speak is specific to Mac beta build 32: it resumes after one second of quiet. Another app using the microphone can still prevent voice capture.
- Apple silicon and macOS 13 or later are required for the current beta.
- No public Mac download or TestFlight join link is available.
- Use native mobile apps for public availability today.
